For me this Star Trek clip shows how antiquated we all are in still using keyboards and mice to interface with computers. Keyboards have been around for a few hundred years (as typewriters) then the mouse first turned up in the 60's. Other than adding tracker balls and wireless nothing seems to have moved since. The technology we interface with it seems to advance by the day but no one seems that bothered with making the interface itself any better.
I think the iPhone will probably be the first break from this mould as it looks to incorporate a few of the multi touch stuff that Jeff Han's up to. Personally I can't wait to be dragging pictures of smoothies about with my fingers.
