If you're stuck for something to do in marketing I always think messing with the format is a good way to get attention.
HSBC's sale for example. How does a bank have a sale? Bank's don't normally have sale signs in their windows.
Yo Sushi followed suit with another sale. How does a resturant have a sale? Resturants don't usually have sales.
Another example could be ITV's echo beach and moving wallpaper, one format feeding off the other. Makes you think.
A resturant where you eat in pitch black? Rent instead of purchase? Play a bass guitar with a drum stick and an electric guitar with a cello bow?
Sales, subscriptions, rental contracts, buy one get one free's, just pick something that isn't common to your sector and re-apply it.
