Lets be human beings used to be my portfolio site when I was looking for a new job. I have a nice new job at innocent drinks now doing digital and other creative stuff. So this site is going to be a place to archive work, document ideas and write down some thoughts from now on.
I'd just forget them otherwise.

calm down peter pervis

Another couple of asides on Somers Town/ Shane Meadows stuff.

I came across this clip of Paddy Consindine supporting the Arctic Monkeys on stage a while ago and wondered what it was all about.

It turns out that it was shot for Shane Meadows next film 'Le Donk'. (The idea of Le Donk originally coming from the same series of shorts as the football and boxing stuff in my last post).

I like it when stuff kind of comes together like that. Or you see the same event from two distincly different angels.

The other aside is around how films aren't just getting made by film companies any more. Advertising agencies (Mother Vision), record labels (Warp Films) and brands (Eurostar) are all at it now.

Films are interesting. People like interesting stuff.
