how to make friends and influence people part 2

Be helpful.

I went on a D&AD training thing a couple of weeks ago where they pointed out the importance of being generally/genuinely helpful. Using Bill Nighy as an example of someone who has been observed to "land roles at auditions by giving the impression that he is trying to be helpful rather than advance his own career".

He's got good glasses to.
