The thought just came back to me after following this tweet to this Harvard Business Review article again on the importance of ritual in work, and Samuri tea drinking. There's a strong relationship between ritual and always-on marketing over campaign based marketing. My own experiences of rituals is probably best summed up in innocent's yearly jaunt (2003-2010) into what must be one of the biggest and longest running User Generated Content campaigns that ever was, and will continue to be.
