On August 7th 1974 Philippe Petit walked between the Twin Towers on a tight rope. A feat of immense bravery but also immense planning. Not least in in working out how to get a heavy tight rope wire 200ft from one building to another without anyone realising. The small covert team solved the problem in an ingenious way.
1: Shoot a length of fishing wire from the roof of one building to another via bow and arrow.
2: Tie the fishing wire to a length of string.
3: Tie the string to a length of rope and pass it between the buildings.
4: Tie the rope to a length of light weight wire and pass that between the buildings. Then finally attach the leight wire to the heavy wire and pass that over.
Biomimicry in action. Always start small and work up. Get fractal.

This is a very difficult feat. I salute the bravery of the person who actually did this. The intensive planning really worked. In everything that we do, we can only be successful if we do the planning carefully.
